The bus tour of prominent Fitzgerald sites took folks to the Mencken house, Johns Hopkins hospital, the Phipps clinic, and the author’s own apartment. The event climaxed with a sumptuous reception at the Evergreen Museum and Library, where attendees viewed several original Zelda paintings. One thing you must say about Fitzgerald Society conferences: there is no lack of food. The special Tom Collinses provided by Watson Caterers were delicious as well. The reception was capped by a moving reading by theater aficionado Richard Davison, who performed passages from Fitzgerald’s “Sleeping and Waking.” -Next- -Previous-
