Fitzgerald Conference Rich with Ideas

Somehow attendees managed to balance the scholarly with the cultural. Just a few short hours after the music at the Belvedere faded, we were back at work, discoursing on the influence of Tono-Bungay and Poe’s Gothicism, on textual devices and maneuvers in Gatsby and Tender Is the Night, and themes of time, place, and desire. Many of the presentations here will be developed into full-length papers or monograph chapters. Editors of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Review are always on the lookout for prospective material.     -Next-    -Previous-
